Die Umrundung des Sarek (2005) 
Nach meiner ersten (Süd-)Schwedenreise 2002 kam der Entschluss, 2003 nach Norrbotten in Nordschweden zu fahren. Mitte August 2003 erreichte ich den Polarkreis und erkundete das Gebiet rund um die drei Nationalparks Stora Sjöfallet, Padjelanta und den Sarek von Jokkmokk aus. Ich merkte jedoch sehr schnell, dass sich die so genannte "letzte Wildnis Europas" nicht durch Tagestripps erschließen lässt. Deshalb I wanted to explore the area in a multi-day hike.
