Verlegung nach Sanitz, Kr. Rostock - Land, 1961 - 1962 :
nachdem am 01.03.1961 das FRR - 18 mit 7 Offz. und 256 Uffz. / Soldaten gegründet worden war, sind die Monate März - November von weiterer Formierung und intensiver Ausbildung geprägt. Kommandeur der Technische Abteilung ( TA ) ist übrigens Hptm. Ottomar Roth - nicht O. Maroth, wie in Folge 1 geschrieben. Zu dieser Zeit sind am zukünftigen Standort Sanitz Offz. - Schüler beim Baumeinschlag und Waldroden ...
Ab Juli 1961 werden durch das Lehrausbildungsregiment 12 ( LAR - 12 ) in Pinnow ebenfalls Offz. - Schüler der Flakartillerie - Schule Geltow auf Fla - Raketentechnik umgeschult. Unter ihnen sind u.a. die späteren OSL Klaus Ischner, Ernst Regorius, Adolf Siehr ....Ab Oktober kommen die Eisenbahntransporte aus der UdSSR mit der Spezialtechnik an, entladen wird in Frankfurt / Oder bzw. die Fla - Raketen vom Anschlußgleis auf dem GSSD - Flugplatz Finofurt. Einer, der als Kranführer bei der Entladung in Finofurt eingesetzt ist : Uffz.- Schüler Eberhard Kornow. Danach Transportzugführer, " Spieß " in der T / V - Kompanie bzw. nach der Strukturveränderung in der Transport - u. Instandsetzungskompanie ( TIK ), Leiter Feuerwehr. Es gibt noch einen weiteren Grund, ihn zu nennen : als Fahnenträger im Fahnenkommando FRR - 18 / 43. FRBR ist er bei 46 Vereidigungen dabei !

Entladen wird am Bahnhof Sanitz, da das Anschlußgleis zum Objekt Wendfeld noch im Bau ist, Abschluß der Entladung gegen 07.00 Uhr. Die Transporttechnik wird dann im Objekt Wendfeld im Bereich der Verladerampe abgestellt, die Kfz. - Werkstatt entfaltet in der Wendeschleife.
Das Anschlußgleis wird nach und nach fertiggestellt, Teile des Personalbestandes der Führungsbatterie werden beim Entladen und Transport der Schwellen eingesetzt.
