Im sozialistischen Wettbewerb innerhalb des FRR - 18 erreicht die FRA 4321 am 01.03.1962 den 1. Platz. Die Führung der FRA besteht aus folgenden Offz. : K - Hptm. Malchowski, SC - Hptm. Wiedemann, StPA Hptm. Büttner, Parteisekr. - Hptm. Semkat, StRD - Ultn. Nikolaus, StTA - Ltn. Rosenkranz, FDJ - Sekr. - Ltn. Michlik
Kommandeure der 4 FRA des FRR - 18 sind : FRA 4321 - Hptm. Malchowski, FRA 4322 - Maj. Gernhardt, FRA 4323 - Maj. Pauls, FRA 4324 - Maj. Pohl
AJ 1961 / 1962 :
Am 24.01.1962 das Gesetz zur Einführung der Allgemeinen Wehrpflicht in der DDR, damit auch mehr Möglichkeiten des Einsatzes von Soldaten mit entsprechendem Berufsprofil.
23.05.1962 - AO 18 / 62 Chef LSK / LV zur Übernahme des FRR - 18 in das System der Luftverteidigung der DDR, gleichzeitige Eingliederung / Unterstellung des Regiments zur 3. LVD.
Die Aufgabenstellung : Vorbereitung und Zulassung der FRA zum DHS, Vorbereitung von 2 FRA zum Gefechtsschießen Polygon Ashuluk in der UdSSR, Vorbereitung der Flak - Batterien der FRA zum Gefechtsschiessen auf dem Schießplatz Zingst.
Die Ergebnisse : Zulassung FRA 4322 und FRA 4324 zum DHS, Zulassung FRA 4321 ( erste Überprüfung Note 5 ) und FRA 4323 zum Gefechtsschießen,
